Deadpool 3 trailer is expected to release during the Super Bowl.

With the Super Bowl just around the corner, it’s set to deliver some of the year’s most awaited trailers and ads. Regardless of whether you’re cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers, this major sports event promises to captivate audiences with a showcase of what’s next in entertainment.

According to Variety, there’s growing excitement for the premiere of Marvel Studios’ only movie slated for 2024, Deadpool 3, featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Additionally, Disney might release a sneak peek of Pixar’s Inside Out 2 and another teaser for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the upcoming installment in the Apes series from 20th Century Fox.

At the same time, Paramount is set to take center stage during the Super Bowl by revealing trailers for a slew of its big-ticket movies, including the horror prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, the music biopic Bob Marley: One Love, and John Krasinski’s fantasy comedy IF, which is already garnering buzz as a hit with families.

Furthermore, the studio will spotlight both new and existing content on Paramount+, with promotions for its Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff Knuckles, the book-inspired animated tale The Tiger’s Apprentice, Sylvester Stallone’s reality series The Family Stallone, the coming-of-age series The Chi, as well as Halo and M:I – Dead Reckoning.

Universal is also expected to showcase trailers for Jon M. Chu’s take on Wicked, featuring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, David Leitch’s action-packed The Fall Guy, and DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 4. Additionally, it might dazzle audiences with a glimpse into its semi-sequel Twisters, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones.

It appears that Warner Bros., Sony, Netflix, and Amazon have not secured advertising slots for this year’s Super Bowl, indicating that viewers might not get previews of Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated Dune: Part Two, the sequel to Afterlife titled Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire by Gil Kenan, or the latest installment of Bad Boys 4, directed by the team of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.

Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled for Feb. 11, featuring a match-up between the AFC and defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the NFC champions, the San Francisco 49ers. The event will be broadcast on CBS, Paramount+, and NFL+, with a special alternative presentation on Nickelodeon that includes a performance by SpongeBob Squarepants.

More about Deadpool

Deadpool, a character from Marvel Comics, was created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld. The character first appeared in “The New Mutants” #98 in February 1991. Known for his wisecracking personality, Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Wilson, is a disfigured mercenary with the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor and physical prowess. This antihero is famous for breaking the fourth wall, a unique trait that allows him to interact with the audience by acknowledging his existence as a fictional character.

Deadpool’s backstory involves him being diagnosed with terminal cancer, leading him to volunteer for the Weapon X program, where he was subjected to experiments that gave him his healing powers, albeit at the cost of severe disfigurement. His healing factor allows him to recover from virtually any injury, including regenerating from being decapitated or sustaining severe burns. This ability is both a blessing and a curse, as it saved his life but left him in constant physical and emotional pain.

One of Deadpool’s defining characteristics is his sense of humor. He often jokes in the face of danger, using humor as a coping mechanism for his traumatic experiences and inner turmoil. His dialogue often includes pop culture references, puns, and jokes that make him one of the most entertaining characters in the Marvel Universe.

Deadpool has been a part of various teams, including the X-Force and the Avengers, and has had a complicated relationship with other Marvel characters, such as Spider-Man, Cable, and Wolverine. Despite his chaotic nature, Deadpool strives to do good, albeit in his unconventional way.

The character’s popularity soared with the release of the “Deadpool” film in 2016, starring Ryan Reynolds. The movie was praised for its faithful depiction of the character’s humor, breaking the fourth wall, and action-packed sequences. A sequel, “Deadpool 2,” expanded on his story, introducing new characters and deepening the antihero’s journey in the Marvel cinematic universe. Deadpool’s blend of comedy, tragedy, and action has cemented his status as a beloved and unique character in the superhero genre.
